Moonlapse
You scored 27 out of 100 on a scale of Individual vs Social. This means that politically you are less likely to value the need for group actions and group benefit over individual enterprise and benefit. You scored 56 out of 100 on a scale of Theist vs Materialist. This means that politically you are neither more nor less likely to believe that religion and spirituality are superstitions that should not inform political debate. You scored 90 out of 100 on a scale of Big Government vs Small Government. This means that politically you are more likely to believe that government should keep out of legislating social policies, leaving such decisions to individuals. You scored 51 out of 100 on a scale of Nationalist vs Internationalist. This means that politically you are neither more nor less likely to favour international bodies over national ones. You scored 95 out of 100 on a scale of Protectionist vs Free Trader. This means that politically you are more likely to favour free trade over protectionist policies. You scored 49 out of 100 on a scale of Absolutist vs Non Absolutist. This means that politically you are neither more nor less likely to believe that there is an absolute truth that may guide your ideological beliefs. You scored 66 out of 100 on a scale of Controlled Market vs Liberal Market. This means that politically you are less likely to believe that there is need for government regulation of industry. You scored 46 out of 100 on a scale of Marxist vs Non-Marxist. This means that politically you are neither more nor less likely to follow the philosophies of Marx. I won't even try to comment on my specific results, the terms used mean different things to different people. I don't think any test will ever be accurate to the way people perceive their own political affiliation. Results are obviously meant to be shown to other people, but each person will interpret each others results the way they wish to.
Kosmo
Overall, the quiz considers you a materialist, small-government, nationalist, protectionist, non-absolutist, controlled-market kind of person, who doesn't sound like a Marxist. These characteristics would put you in the overall category of social conservative protectionist. "90% of test takers were more Marxist than you" - not really a surprise
Moonlapse
Protectionism and controlled market paired with small government??? How does that work?
Kosmo
Protectionism and controlled market paired with small government??? How does that work? By outsourcing this functions The test could focus on revealing ones political ideas even when these ideas don't make any sense. Probably in this test there are several sub-tests for different topics each determining one of the results without influencing each other. This reminds me of the game http://www.nationstates.net/ where your decisions change your nation but the changes can be poorly correlated creating absurd situations. It was a fun game for a while and can be seen as a political quiz.
Nephele
This reminds me of the game http://www.nationstates.net/ where your decisions change your nation but the changes can be poorly correlated creating absurd situations. It was a fun game for a while and can be seen as a political quiz. The Mighty Queendom of Nephele was interested only in CONQUERING all those pacifist nation states. And farming their precious national animals as food for Nephele's dogs of war. (Well, okay, Nephele's miniature pinschers of war...) -- Nephele
