DDickey
Aside from Sallust, does anyone know of any source--ancient or modern, though I would prefer modern--that deals with the Jugurthine War?
M. Porcius Cato
Greenidge, A H J. (1904). A History of Rome, Vol 1. Greenidge provides a fairly comprehensive examination of the Jugurthine War, and in his biography of Sulla, Keaveney considers this account to be authoritative. WotWotius
You could try Plutarch's biographies of Marius and Sulla. No other ancient sources come to mind. Edited April 8, 2008 by WotWotius
M. Porcius Cato
Other ancient sources include Livy (e.g., HERE), and the minor historians (Flor, Val Max, etc.).
