Roman lamp discovered near Tadcaster

A rare 2,000-year-old Roman lamp has been bought by the Yorkshire Museum after it was discovered in North Yorkshire. The copper lamp - depicting the face of a wild, violent and drunken nymph - in the shape of a female head was found by a metal detectorist near Tadcaster.
