Emperor Goblinus
I'm not talking about the Roman commanders of the province or the aristocracy, but the common people. Is their any evidence, that before the fifth century, the British people spoke complete Latin, not just Latin/Greek words being put here and there into their own languages? I have a feeling that this has been discussed before, but I'm too lazy to search for a similar topic.
