Viggen Posted August 31, 2004 Report Share Posted August 31, 2004 An ongoing museum exhibit, Mummy: The Inside Story, presents a 3-D look at the unopened mummy of Nesperennub, an ancient Egyptian priest. Using the latest in medical technology, visitors see under the mummy's wrappings and flesh, catching researchers' insights into the art that went into its creation. "We don't want to unwrap mummies. It's very destructive," says mummy expert John Taylor of the museum's Department of Ancient Egypt and Sudan.
