Centurion-Macro
Hey, what other answer did you expect from a gladiator re-enactor???!!! ;-) Well I was unaware of that fact! ~What gladiator type do you reenact? I have always thought the Saminite class to be the best looking.

That would be right. But what would you sell?

Yehudah
Maybe the southern coast of Gaul. Or Egypt.
Caius Maxentius
Aquilea sounds like it was a nice place. Very Roman, but not so hot in the summer? Then I'd go camping on my holidays in the Agri Decumates, just to live dangerously!
Trajan
I would live in Southern Hispania, just outside of Gades. Great air and good farming for starting an olive oil production company or a vineyard.
DecimusCaesar
I think I might have liked the town of Massilia in Southern Gaul. It was a relativily quite place, nice weather with plenty of travellers passing through, whether they were North Africans, Greeks (the original founders) or Celts. They did have odd laws though, especially concerning women and the drinking of wine, so it's not all nice there.
Late Emperor
I like frontier societies, so I think that i would have lived in Roman Britain or along the rhine or danubian border.
Noricum
Nice topic ...I'd live in the area around Eisenerz in Styria ( where my mother was born and my grandfather was a steelworker) - and where the famous Noric steel came from, and because it's far away from the slums of Rome (I'm just a poor woman with no prospects of rising in Roman society ) I'd like to think that thousands of years later my descendants would still be around in that area too My grandfather was born in Celje in Slovenia (Celeia in Roman times) and I would like to think just maybe I have a gene or two from ancient Roman ancestors because of his ancestors travelling to Styria to work at making Noric steel
