Gaius Octavius
What is going on here? M. Porcius Cato is an 'Eidibus Martiis'! What is that? What does that mean? What else can he do to mankind now? Nobody consulted me! (Congratulations!, whatever it means.) "Ides of March" ... which I imagine in Cato's household is probably seen as a time for bringing family together, gathering around and exchanging gifts while singing famous "Ides-mas" carols (eg: 'Ding Dong the Dictator's Dead'). Congratulations MPC! Edited September 26, 2007 by G-Manicus

M. Porcius Cato
"Ides of March" ... which I imagine in Cato's household is probably seen as a time for bringing family together, gathering around and exchanging gifts while singing famous "Ides-mas" carols (eg: 'Ding Dong the Dictator's Dead'). It's funny--on the Ides, I get calls and emails from all my old college friends wishing me a happy Liberation Day. Thanks to G. Manicus, I can now return the jibes with a special Ides-mas card.
