Instead of cutting slices from that cake for serving, shall we simply stab it 23 times?

EDIT: Whoops. Wrong Caesar...

Perhaps we should just have it deified? :)

Oh I hate to nit pick - especially with you G-Man and Nephele - but I must tell you that yesterday was the God's 2069th birthday, not his 2070th! You see, he would have been 63 in 1AD, therefore you have to add 62 to 2007, or 63 to 2006!

Just ignore me - it's been one of those weeks. Now, as you were....

That's okay, The Augusta. I'm only here for the cake. :)

D'oh! If only we'd had a "Year Zero"!

Now who the hell am I going to give this cake to?

Wikipedia has only the following 2 blokes listed as being born in 64 BC:

* Gaius Julius Hyginus

* Marcus Valerius Messalla Corvinus

Some Roman tombs had holes in them where wine could be poured in libations. If we could find Lord Augustus' tomb we could stuff some cake down the hole.

I've heard of a pie hole before, but never a cake hole!

Hey Shakespeare ... !

You want to deify a cake?

No need for that, just give it to me!

I'll worship him for half an hour...

I would advise caution here as My Lady Sophia of the North may blow the whistle.

:)

Good point. Perhaps we should ply her with some vino? :)
