Lost_Warrior
Hangover. I wouldn't know!!! Dehydration also produces everything but the dry mouth, in me. As does a "low sugar" episode.
Lost_Warrior
OK this one is weird. (Pertinax might know). What discomfort was treated by washing the patient's feet and having them drink the water?
Gaius Octavius
Planter's wart? Athletes foot? Fallen arches? Lombago?

G-Manicus
Correct about what? (but only make it beer instead )
Lost_Warrior
Planter's wart? Athletes foot? Fallen arches? Lombago? Afraid it's none of those, GO. It actually has nothing to do with the feet at all. (hence, "weird". I really don't understand it. Must have some superstitious significance rather than anything based in actual sound medical knowledge. At best, I think, the cure would be ineffective). Pantagathus
Hangover. Rx: The hair of the dog that bit you. Nope! A Roman medicus would no doubt recommend cabbage soup! (Sorry I'm way out of order and behind)

Gaius Octavius
Proctitis? Aural dyslexia? Nasal clogging?
Lost_Warrior
Nope, nope and nope! Not constipation either. I think it may have come from Pliny though. I read it a while ago, can't remember the source at this point. It's all I had considering none of my books seem to have such information in them.
