The Augusta
That's a bust of the lovely Antinous. (At least I'm 80% sure of it!)

ASCLEPIADES
That's a bust of the lovely Antinous. (At least I'm 80% sure of it!) Salve. Lady A. As always, you should be 100%; it is indeed. Antoninians can't deceive you . Your turn.
Julius Ratus
Hey all, I've been loving this thread, but since it hasn't been updated in a few days I thought I would bump it up to the top. The Venerable Augusta has the next turn. If she hasn't posted a new picture by tommorrow, I will usurp her position like I was Cyrus with 10,000 Greeks at his back . The Augusta
Elagabalus - or whatever version of his name you go for! Heliogabalus etc...... Edited October 3, 2007 by The Augusta
ASCLEPIADES
Elagabalus - or whatever version of his name you go for! Heliogabalus etc...... Nope, Lady A. Clue: as far as I know, Elagabalus and this guy were no relatives; but they might have shared something more than the name "imperator". Keep on searching and good luck! The Augusta
Sorry for the delay, Dr. A - as soon as I wrote Elagabalus I knew I didn't mean him at all! I actually meant Commodus! (The face looked familiar and I kept seeing that famous bust of the guy in the Hercules' headdress. That was, of course, old Commie, wasn't it?) Actually this is quite a nice portrait. Looks like a younger beardless version of his old Dad.
