Viggen Posted August 15, 2004 Report Share Posted August 15, 2004 Archaeological experts have found West Halton was once possibly one of the most important, busy, bustling places in North Lincolnshire. And it was populated by wealthy and important people, experts from the University of Sheffield have found. A three-week dig came to a somewhat rainy end yesterday.
