Book Bag Reveals The Education Of Ancient Scotland

Archaeologists have made a remarkable 1400-year-old discovery which indicates early medieval Scots were better educated than their southern counterparts. Re-examination of an ex-tremely rare leather artefact, originally thought to be a jacket and which was displayed in Kelvingrove Museum in Glasgow for 40 years, has revealed that it was actually a book satchel.
