Gaius Octavius
There is a place in Italy, perhaps in Calabria, where there are cone shaped dwellings. I believe that I have seen them on Italian stamps of half a century ago and elsewhere. Does anyone know anything about this?
Maladict
I'm guessing you're talking about Trulli. They're found in Puglia, not Calabria.
Lost_Warrior
Strange, but kind of cute!

The Augusta
I'm guessing you're talking about Trulli. They're found in Puglia, not Calabria. Ah, Maladict - you pre-empted me. As soon as I read Gaius' post I thought 'Calabria? No - he means Puglia - the heel not the toe!' Don't they have sred roofs made up of very small tiles - or am I thinking of something else? Based on the dozen or so I've seen there seem to be very strict conventions on how they look, one of them being that the roof tiles are grey (limestone iirc). But I could be wrong.
