ciccio
It was indeed a quite interesting discover this one. Until now there has been digged out about 50 equipment for handcraftsmen. I also remember 2 glasspearls covered with a thin layer of gold. And I think 2 fibula in bronze (almost intact!). There was also discovered a molar (tooth) that may give som information on age of the dead. (The soil in southwestern norway are not basic, so skeletons will decompose quite fast - Therefor it is interesting that they found this tooth). Another thing that are interesting is that this grave are untouched.. It was discovered only 30 cm. below the surface, and this is a farming area... It is incredible that the farmer has not destroyed this ancient memory while preparing the fields each spring.
