Ludovicus
On a trip to Chestnut Hill in Philadelphia, I stumbled upon the showroom Souli Tile & Stone. The owner is from Tunisia. His shop displayed several very beautiful copies of Roman mosaics. Here's the website: http://www.souli.net/index.htm
DecimusCaesar
I remember seeing an advertisment for a reconstruction mosaic depicting the Battle of Issus (the one discovered in Pompeii). It looked brilliant, and the artist had decided to fill the gaps that existed on the real mosaic. The only problem is that is cost a HUGE amount of money and only real Alexanderphiles and art lovers would have coughed up the amount of money to get it. I wish I could find the picture.
