Favonius Cornelius
If you can't get the Scipio book, Scullard goes into much detail on the man anyway in his general history of the Roman Republic. He's an excellent author and detailed, I learned my history from his books. In fact might be more of what you are looking for if you were interested in a more global look of his times in relation to him.
WotWotius
Try some used book store snuggled away in a dark alley. I work in one of those, and I cannot find there. But thank you, second-hand book shops are brilliant. If you can't get the Scipio book, Scullard goes into much detail on the man anyway in his general history of the Roman Republic. Yes, H H Scullard's From the Gracchi to Nero is the book that single-handedly got me interested in all things Roman; I suppose that's why I'm so eager to get one of his other books. Primus Pilus
Hmm... just an aside... Maybe if we can get another "book giveaway" sponsor a more expensive grand prize along the lines of Scullard's book may be appropriate. (Nevermind me, just thinking out loud)

WotWotius
Alas, I have finally located the book in my student library. The only problem now however, is that I do not have enough time to read it.
