Neos Dionysos
The what? LoL... sorry Honorius but you'll have to refresh my memory on exactly what you are talking about.
Gaius Octavius
This is a very elaborate screen in front of the alter. It is closed at the heart of the Mass, when the bread and wine are transformed (?) into the Body and Blood of Christ. It can be seen in modern Orthodox and Eastern Rite Roman Catholic churches. H. is asking about its length and width. Edited September 24, 2006 by Gaius Octavius
Ursus
The what? LoL... sorry Honorius but you'll have to refresh my memory on exactly what you are talking about. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iconostasis It's basically the distinguishing visual feature of the interior of an Orthodox church. Remember the icon controversy in the Byzantine Empire? Sorry, Honorius, I have no useful information.
Honorius
not a bad point Ursus, perhaps it was destroyed under the reign of the Iconoclast emperors. But i would think that it woudlve been rebuilt.. hmmm..
