miguel, the only Roman name I can get out of your 7-letter name is the nomen...

Maenius

The best thing about it is that it's a straight anagram, and not a blanagram.

And, at least you're descended from a statesman and general, even if you don't quite possess a proper tria nomina.

****************************************************

Gaius Octavius, I'll work on seeing whether I can find hidden Roman names in the Roman names you gave me, and will be back later with them.

*****************************************************************

WotWotius, you get a choice of Roman identities. You can be either the descendent of a Tribune, or a Poet. Take your pick:

P. Manilius Felix

(ilxfe kisinlaup -k +m)

or

L. Papinius Felix

(ilxfe kisinlaup -k +p)

********************************************************************

FLavius Valerius Constantinus, I don't know why the scramble keeps putting ampersands in your name. Perhaps you should try scrambling your name by hand for me?

**********************************************************************

Will be back later with more names. You guys are keeping me busy! (And outta trouble.)

Pertinax, I just couldn't pack in for the evening without giving you your name. You have the distinction of being descended from "the last of the Romans"...

Cn. Aetius Nero Minor

(nrnconjheoaetrmro -hjor +iius)

Surprise! You are not a boar.

ConigDoTnhhuh(I used upper case for the names)

hohoidntuchng(Lowercase altogether)

I hope that is better, I'm really bad at directons. Is it me is it that these scrambled letters are not set in stone since I put my lowercased names again and I got

ogtionhchnhdu

Ah thank you! I like the "Nero" touch , but Aetius is a most honourable name.

Thank you. I think I will go for the former name; he seems to be a more honourable character in comparison to a showy Greek.

I had a feeling that Felix would crop up as my Roman cognomina, because my name is fact Felix!

You are lucky. I wish my mother had given me a nice Latin name instead of naming me after some angry Old Testament prophet.

Some (myself not included, of course), might think that your Mother  got it right. :whistling:

Ye and verily, O’ wayward children of American pop culture. Repent thy folly or thou shalt suffer eternal wrath.

Turn now my children to the Conan The Barbarian DVD, chapter 12.

And Lo! Conan ascended the platform whereupon stood Thulsa Doom.

And Thulsa Doom sayeth onto Conan:

“My child! You have come to me, my son. For who now is your father if it is not me? Who gave you the will to live? I am the wellspring from which you flow. When I am gone, you will have never been. What would your world be without me ..my son? Son!"

And then did Conan take out his sword, and lob off Thulsa Doom’s head.

Let that be a lesson, my children. Having a big sword means more than all the bull**** in the world.

Here endeth the lesson. Let those who have ears hear.
