Lost_Warrior Posted September 10, 2006 Report Share Posted September 10, 2006 Let me tell you the story of my lemon. My old computer breaks after a long life of being nothing but trouble. So my dad buys me a brand new one. Great! Of course, it is of the same make as my old one. So, six months after I get it, it requires a new motherboard AND hard drive. Was fixed for free. Now, last night, I try to get online, and as soon as I try to connect to the internet, the thing restarts. What the heck! I've never even heard of that! Well anyway, I'll call the company when I get time, and maybe they'll fix it again for free. The warrenty expires the first of next month. But in the meantime, I'm buying a Dell. DecimusCaesar Posted September 11, 2006 Report Share Posted September 11, 2006 Computers can be a lot of nuisance, my friend has had nothing but trouble with his and he can't get any updates for it because his PC was a 'TIME' computer, a company that has since gone out of buisness. I'm hoping I can get a new PC by next year as my own is getting rather old (about 6 years). Hope your new PC will be good Lost_Warrior.
