Gaius Octavius
FLASH! Paluto no longer a planet!!! Could Uranus be next?
Lost_Warrior
I heard that they decided that Pluto could remain a planet. This debate has been going on for years. It seems they thought Pluto may be an escaped moon. How does a moon escape?
Spurius
Here's one way... But it also could have been an impact, close encounter with another planet or large mass, unstable orbit finally letting it fly, already a rogue moon and captured by sun....several more possibilities. Primus Pilus
Could Uranus be next? I'm not sure, but if we can somehow get rid of Neptune, Uranus will be most appropriately positioned as the back end of our solar system.
Gaius Octavius
Now, I am really confused. Some chap is adding another planet named Zena to the system and says that there are 10 planets! So what is it, 8, 9, 10? What? Help! The best thing is to get rid of the letters 'H' & 'K'. Antiochus of Seleucia
Ok, it's official, I saw the news and pluto got the boot. "Members of the International Astronomical Union overwhelmingly voted to demote Pluto to a "dwarf planet." Though still retaining the term planet, it was clear that Pluto had been exiled." FLavius Valerius Constantinus
Technically, there were suppose to be 2400 people present to vote on the matter, but most were cowards and only 300 actually wanted to vote. Now its probably official that its just 8 planets. But Pluto, Charaon, Ceres, U3I3 will just be called dwarf planets(also for other heavely bodies.) Kosmo
Fair enough. If they kept Pluto they had to add some 8 more planets that are similar in size and orbit.
