Remains Of Phoenician City Discovered

One of my biggest petpeaves in regards to Spanish archaeology is that they give the site a name based on it's modern location but almost never try to equate it with an ancient place name. In otherwords, I doubt there was a Phoenician city called Las Chorreras (The Spouts?). But it is near Malaga which narrows it down.

 

The population desinty during the colonization period was apparently extraordinary. One site (a complete settlement) might only be a 30 minute walk to the next
