Pantagathus Posted July 17, 2006 Report Share Posted July 17, 2006 One of my biggest petpeaves in regards to Spanish archaeology is that they give the site a name based on it's modern location but almost never try to equate it with an ancient place name. In otherwords, I doubt there was a Phoenician city called Las Chorreras (The Spouts?). But it is near Malaga which narrows it down. The population desinty during the colonization period was apparently extraordinary.
