Well, This Article from Mysteriousetruscans.com seems to imply that the Etruscans got their love of horses from the Chalcidians of Cumae... I'm looking deeper on horses in regards to class structure though. Pertinax Posted August 27, 2006 Report Share Posted August 27, 2006 A small , but vital point here: the importation of lucerne (possibly by accident as a seed) as a feed crop for cavalry mounts was a key technological step in the improved provisioning of horses.
