Pantagathus
It would be too much to hope it might be "In the Wake of Poseidon" (King Crimson for those unfamiliar). That is probably my absolute favorite early Crimson song... Their children kneel in jesus till They learn the price of nail; Whilst all around our mother earth Waits balanced on the scale... When Greg Lake belts out that last 'scale' and the melotron reaches down waaaaay deep, I get major chill bumps. Every time. I'm going to listen to that really, really loud when I get home today. Virgil61
Ha my "life's theme" is some crappy Brian Adams song... At least it's not this Safety Dance I have to admit this video was a guilty pleasure of mine when it came out. My 'life's theme' is 'Tragedy' by the Bee Gees! I was an confirmed member of the I Hate Disco crowd at the time as well.

Life Theme: Stars on 45 Medley - Stars on 45 (err...) Maybe UK? Life Theme: One Day In Your Life - Michael Jackson (Ahhhhh!) Stupid music idea,*<grumble, grumble>* I'll just go with my High School Class song: Comfortably Numb....
WotWotius
Sadly I was a child of the eighties... Yazz - The Only Way is Up (UK) However, the US no. 1 is quite good. Steve Winwood - Roll With It (US)
docoflove1974
Yazz!!! Whoa, there's a flashback! The Winwood song was a good one, too.
