Pantagathus
Do you suggest Patrician Polyandry? Hmmm, not exactly... more like we'd probably also end up with similar results in a Myers Briggs assesment I.e. some Jungian trait that drives us to this endeavor... Ursus
I'm an INTJ...
Pantagathus
I'd have to double check but I'm pretty sure I'm an INTP, the "Architect"
Pertinax
INTP here -check. I think biologist/chemist covers the spec. Edited May 10, 2006 by Pertinax
docoflove1974
What cracks me up about the Myers-Briggs tests is how rigid they are. Every time I take it, I'm either ENFJ ('teacher') or ENTJ ('general')...I'm not purely a thinker nor a feeler, but a bit of both in equal amounts. And yet, I don't feel (hah) that I'm much of the emotional kind...I tend to be much more of the thinker, according to my own intuitions. They need more of a sliding scale! Pantagathus
They need more of a sliding scale! I feel mine hits me on the nose! INTP here -check. I think biologist/chemist covers the spec. I thought INTJ is the "Scientist"? Man, I'm going to have to dig out my assessment... Ok, I see from the site I linked... I may actually be an ENTP! Off to do some digging Edited May 10, 2006 by Pantagathus
Ursus
Here's a free and quick online test --- no promises about 100% accuracy: http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp I thought INTJ is the "Scientist"? No, INTP is the scientist (Einstein was one). INTJ is the "Mastermind." Hehehe. http://keirsey.com/personality/ntij.html

Pantagathus
Well found my assessment from 5 years ago and was ENTP then. Did the online test and came out INTP, seems I have become more reclusive as I age... I see that the Keirsey site does call INTP the "Architects"... (not scientists) I'll leave it at that without confusing myself anymore. Edited May 11, 2006 by Pantagathus
Viggen
My Type is INTJ Introverted 11% Intuitive 88% Thinking 50% Judging 22% ...what ever that means... cheers viggen
Pantagathus
See! This is starting to somewhat prove my assumption! Now I'm super curious for Virgil to post results!
Primus Pilus
Both tests seem to indicate that I'm an ISTJ. 'Guardian Inspector'. I don't know what it means, but basing it on my general personality type, I don't think I really care either =P
Spurius
eNTj....just like all the times I've taken this over the years. "The Portrait of the Field Marshal Rational (eNTj)" Figures with all you "I..." types running around here, we get the "Your conclusion is correct, you're just saying it wrong" type of arguments a lot. Now if everyone would just follow me.... :pimp: I still say patricians should be able to be ignored (Hey, maybe Cato did have a catchy end phrase idea...) docoflove1974
Now if everyone would just follow me.... :pimp: Hah...follow me, instead! I'll lead you, and then I'll teach you! (Meh, what am I saying...I have no time for this. Too much to do, no time to do it in.)
Pantagathus
(Hey, maybe Cato did have a catchy end phrase idea...) It was successful because everyone understood the motivation behind it! If he had said Gades in place of Carthage, it probably would have elicited puzzling looks...
