Tribunicus Potestus
Venus, if she was good enough for the Divine Julius she's good enough for me. (Pssst...don't let on, but I have a hankering for that Tanit wench, she is one sweet looking tart.) GhostOfClayton
Venus, if she was good enough for the Divine Julius she's good enough for me. Have to agree - the Venus Kallipygos certainly floats my particular boat.

Divus Filius
Favorite god: Priapus (the god with a big you-know-what) Favorite goddess: Fortuna (our Lady Luck, the Goddess of Random Chance)

silvah
My 'favourite?' Well, I'd give the nod to Mars, Patron of Rome. Second choice is Mithras (supposing I was a bloke). Then there's the Emperor, whoever he was lately. And to cover all bases, I'd do 'The Unknown God' . Probably, I'd just honour whatever god the pater chose to keep on his good side, or the patron of my trade. .Actually, being spoiled for choice, I'd be a very godly person. .
timrudi
My favorite god within the Roman group is Venus-Urantia. Such a genesis - and yet she remains mis-identified with 'love' and selfless love at that. I would have thought that she would be transparent to our modern society with all its Jungian, et alia, allegorical de-constructionists. But no, it seems she remains "The Goddess of Love". But then how do we regard Eros as Cupid?
