Furius Venator
But he has no army nor history of successful military command, so perhaps not... Neither does his principal opponent seem to be a pompous, hypocritical windbag hellbent on pursuing grudge over sense. Surely he's more Crassus than Caesar? FLavius Valerius Constantinus
Boy, Berlusconi sure wish that recount gives him a few extra thousand votes. Say, doesn't having the new guy mean its harder to have better diplomatic relations with the US. I heard he was gonna pull the Italian troops out of Iraq immediately(that sure isn't gonna make it better).
Silentium
If it was 2000 years ago would Berlusconi march on Rome? I think so! His dignitas demands it:) hehe have fun. dignitas? I'd call it (probitatis) simulatio. Boy, Berlusconi sure wish that recount gives him a few extra thousand votes. Say, doesn't having the new guy mean its harder to have better diplomatic relations with the US. I heard he was gonna pull the Italian troops out of Iraq immediately(that sure isn't gonna make it better). the recount..LOL. Anyway the "new guy" won't be able to form a government in the short term because we need to have a new "Presidente della Repubblica", who formally appoints the Premier and the ministers. As to the rest, I don't think any of the things mentioned is likely to happen..

I heard he was gonna pull the Italian troops out of Iraq immediately(that sure isn't gonna make it better). Pulling the Italians out of Nasiriyah would be a shame. I've seen them there and they've sent some of their best troops--like the Carabieneri--and done a very good job there.
Ludovicus
What "dignitas" does Berlusconi possess who has called Italian voters opposed to him "coglioni" or pr*cks! http://www.euronews.net/create_html.php?pa...le=353181&lng=1 As for him withdrawing Italian troops from Iraq, that reflects the majority opinion in Italy, both within Berlusconi's coalition and without. M. Porcius Cato
What "dignitas" does Berlusconi possess who has called Italian voters opposed to him "coglioni" or pr*cks! Am I correct to assume, then, that the opponents of Berlusconi have nothing but nice things to say about him?
Lex
Boy, Berlusconi sure wish that recount gives him a few extra thousand votes. I heard he was gonna pull the Italian troops out of Iraq immediately(that sure isn't gonna make it better). The opposition of Berlusconi's coalition is one comprised of Socialists, die-hard Communists, moderate Communists and unions. Combine this with the fact that they want to pull the troops out of Iraq and it's not looking good.
