Lucius Domitius Aurelianus
Hello I am new to this forum. So if this question has been asked before I am sorry. What I was wondering is what was the average Germanic warrior like. By this I mean how tall he was average age, and any other interesting facts about them. Another thing is there any good paintings or drawings that show a good representation of a German warrior. Thank you for any info.
FLavius Valerius Constantinus
I have no specific answers, but if you are interested in the Roman view of Germany, read Tacitus on Germania It's a good read, and I'm sure the answer is in there somewhere. Pertinax
Welcome to the Forum LDA , as an initial piece of intelligence gathering check the many Osprey series titles related to Roman troops, there are a number of titles on "Rome's Enemie's" which should give you a lead into the topic.FVC is indeed correct in suggesting Tacitus to "set the scene".
