Pimpinus
I recently visited the Crimea region (southern mountanous peninsula in Ukraine, its in the Black Sea area) and saw some relics of Roman hundreds of years old. I was wondering if anybody knew anything as to why the Romans expanded so far and if anything important happened in the Crimea region. M. Porcius Cato
The Black Sea ports were important trading ports. For what it's worth, though I'm not a nature-lover, I've never been anywhere with greater natural beauty than Crimea (at least back in 1987).
