Favonius Cornelius
Posters of UNRV! Our beloved forum is in the hands of madmen! This is a dark day, and I stand at a fork in the road. I can abide the law and surrender my arms to the Moderators - and watch the forum fall to tyranny and chaos. Or, I can go home with my sword in hand and run those maniacs to the Tarpean Rock! I, Favonius Cornelius Pola, by ancient right of my noble family, by right of the posting prowess of my dedication to our most glorious UNRV empire here, declare myself MODERATOR in perpetuus! To every poster who flocks to my banner, I promise increased rank and a donoativum of $1! Follow my banner to VICTORY! ARE YOU WITH ME!? Ursus
It's not like you get paid to be moderator or anything. Although I did get a nifty Roman map out of the deal.

Being such a young and innocent citizen (i.e. not having seen the "dark side of UNRV"), i remain loyal to the admins

Spurius
Yeah, but we know how to handle even mumbles of revolt round here... (image courtesy of Akward Thought and some red....paint)
FLavius Valerius Constantinus
Your method of punishment is not at all Roman. That style of punishment right there belonged to Vlad Drucula(that's right, the real one) whom impaled tens of thousands of his enemies ( inluding innocent men, women, children,..). I think his victims were mostly Ottoman-Turks.
Germanicus
What you think Romans never impaled ?
FLavius Valerius Constantinus
I meant that impaling wasn't their favorite method( something that really designated the Roman way)of punishment unlike crucifixion which was. But Vlad Dracula was known in history to be most reputable with impaling his victims.
Lacertus
You know Favonius Cornelius was joking right? me too Your method of punishment is not at all Roman. Why not? Romans were masters of punishments.
