These coins date back to the period from 94 to 74 BCE. Haul of ancient Roman coins discovered in Sicily (msn.com) The island of Pantelleria is located in the Mediterranean Sea, in the Strait of Sicily, and covers an area of 33 square miles (84.5 square kilometers).
