I am a retired U.S. Foreign Service officer (diplomat).  I earned a BA in Latin in 1971 and an MA in Classical Languages in 1973, both from the University of Washington.  My PhD dissertation (Fuller Seminary, 1982) is titledThe British Church from from Patrick to Gildas, and was written on an IBM Selectric III typewriter in a security guard shack.

I am interested in New Testament Latin, Patristic Latin, early Christian hymnody (despite the absence of audio files), St Patrick (of course) and romance language development, particularly of Romanian, which appears to have preserved more case endings and conjugations than any other of is fellows.

It seems that I do not have an account:  password recovery attempts were fruitless.
