Archaeologists have recovered a Roman funerary alter dating from the imperial era at San Vito al Torre, Italy. On the side one can see the image of a winged Erotes.

The Erotes are a group of winged gods associated with love and sexual desire in classical mythology. According to the article, Erotes is holding an overturned torch and poppy flower, which are thought to represent eternal sleep.
