Chichester (Noviomagus Reginorum) was an important site during the Roman invasion of Britain in AD 43 in Southern Britain.

There are plans to reconstruct the temple of the Roman goddess Minerva, utilizing as many original stones as possible.

Here are artistic recreations of the temple:

Stane Street, the modern name for the Roman road connecting Chichester to London (Londinium), spans 91 km (57 miles).
