Onasander
Some others did not want, but they took what they possessed and threw it in the lake and in wells, and they went away, they and their idols, in a desert place. I don't know how I got to this page, but I did, and I was reading this, and it made me wonder; 1. Does anyone recognize this source? 2. Did anyone ever recover the artifacts from the lake? If not, I suggest a fishing trip with a little sonar.
Lacertus
1. Does anyone recognize this source? This text is strange and the source of information is obscure for me. Did anyone ever recover the artifacts from the lake? If not, I suggest a fishing trip with a little sonar. lol. Try do it! A few years ago I found an ancient vase at the bottom of the intermittent river. Turned out the vase was very old (8 BC). Dare!
Ursus
Strange site. Looks like an Egyptian pagan from Italy commenting on Roman history, or something. But certainly enough pagan cult centers were destroyed that the info may be correct. Who knows.
Tobias
That is an interesting website. Perhaps the stories of human sacrificing cults resurfacing are true.............
