I briefly mentioned the Saxon Shore fort in Richborough. It is thought that Carausius dismantled the Triumphal Arch in Richborough for building material to make a Saxon Shore fort. caesar novus Posted November 6, 2021 Report Share Posted November 6, 2021 (edited) Some software (firefox?) keeps urging me to patronize their "VPN" or similar feature to bypass firewalls or regional restrictions imposed for copyright restrictions or whatever. But I haven't been able to even get a local archeo lecture by zoom to work, or at least don't want to grant them requested permissions.
