Guest striped leopard
Hi. I've been looking all over the internet for someone who could help me with an english to latin translation. If someone here could be kind enough to help, it would be greatly appreciated. Anyway, I need the proper translation of "give me liberty or give me death" into latin. Its for a tattoo so I've kind of gotta get it rights so I don't look like a chump. Thanks.

Guest striped leopard
Thanks a lot. thats one way to say it. Is that the way you would say it if you were getting a tattoo? I know thats a strange question. Since I'm going to have it for life, I just want to make sure its proper. Thanks
pompeius magnus
If you study latin you will learm there are many ways to say the same thing, that there is a simple translation saving me from the headaches of participles or the devils invention Subjunctive and its clauses. Ignorant
pompeius magnus is correct. there are many different words in latin that mean the same thing in english. i think the reason for this was because there are no plurals or words like "the" or something. but heres something else. Caesar si viveret, ad remum dareris (If Caesar were alive, you'd be chained to an oar) just kidding
Q Valerius Scerio
Actually, Pompeius was wrong. Freedoms isn't Liber, it's Libertas! Libertatem mihi aut mortem mihi date!
FLavius Valerius Constantinus
Uh, you're kinda a few months late Scerio. You just can't resist can't you.
Q Valerius Scerio
Nope. A piece of badly translated Latin is like a mudspeck for the obsessive compulsive. Scrub scrub scrub.
