Summary: This finding supports the notion that many Germanic tribes had developed long-lasting and stable communities (requiring pottery production, for example). Many of us forget that the Vandals originated in Poland and even in southern Scandinavia, before migration brought them to the Iberian peninsula and eventually Northern Africa.
