Lacertus
What kind of basis was underlying to division into the classes? I had found some versions. What is your opinion about this?
Demson
Wealth and to some extend bloodline seems to have been a first. Accomplishments also accounted for something, and could replace bloodline. Wealth was a prequisite though. I'm too lazy to reason my opinion.
Q Valerius Scerio
Wealth and bloodline were tied together, as usually only the previously rich families had wealth. Clients were usually city-dwellers who promised their vote to the patrician that treated them the best which resulted in large commissationes and probably sex orgies. The plebians were just those without a large villa in the countryside only living in either insulae or small houses if they could afford it.
