andrwdnnlly
I've recently got it in my head to start a collection of replica ancient weaponry (preferably Roman, but any would do). The problem is, most websites I

Spurius
Sounds like you hit the Atlanta Cutlery site. Since they bought windless steel, their selection has ranged across the board. Some of their pieces are good, but they also have in-stock problems. What do you want? Ones that look good on display, ones that carry well for recreation or ones that can be used in mock fights / stage theatrics?

Maximus
Check out the Roman Military Research Society. Their weapons are hand made and can be made to order. Their website is www.rmrs.co.uk. We regularly purchase items from them and they are good quality. Or check out Depeeka. They are cheap but not quite as authentic. Alternatively try googling under Roman Reenactors Suppliers.
