Heres my list Hitman pro Adaware se professional spybot search and destroy Spyware blaster microsoft antispyware Norton Mcafee One scan a week of this lot generally keeps my pc pretty clear of rubbish. P.Clodius Posted May 11, 2005 Report Share Posted May 11, 2005 A good firewall (hardware preferably), anti-virus software (regularly updated with virus definitions), anti spyware is good if you use IE, try using Mozilla to surf the web it is much more secure than IE (and better for that matter)! Spurius Posted May 12, 2005 Report Share Posted May 12, 2005 yeah, Firefox is far better, even with the recent security hole. I also use EZ firewall, adaware se, spybot search and destroy, assorted microsoft, and McAfee. I'm also on Roadrunner so I keep the security settings fairly high.
