Melvadius Posted December 30, 2012 Report Share Posted December 30, 2012 Rather than attempting to list the Top X number of events BBC has instead listed what they considered was exciting the archaeological world (or at least what peaked the interest of the representative from the McDonald Institute of Archaeological Research at the University of Cambridge who wrote the article) month by month throughout 2012 as Digging into 2012's archaeology As much as science looked to the future this year in fields ranging from particle physics to planetary exploration, 2012 also gave us a rich view into the past.
