Roman
Good evening, I was wondering if anyone knew of at least three signifcant temples built by Hadrian in rome? As I'm trying to focus on his indepedent architectural style. I have spent quite a while researching and all I seem to find are reconstructions, any help would be greatly appreciated. Bryaxis Hecatee
Well you have of course the temple of Venus and Rome, the Pantheon is almost as good as new built, and one might consider his Mausoleum a religious place if not truly a temple. Centurion-Macro
I think he built a temple to Venus in his Villa at Tivoli, modeled on the temple to Aphrodite at Knidos. But this is the only temple I know he built that has not been mentioned already.
