Roman terraced houses at Venlo appear to be quite unique.

 

The remains of ten wooden Roman terraced houses that were found at Venlo are pretty unique for the Netherlands because they are of civilian nature. All other houses found in the Netherlands have always been owned by Roman soldiers.
