Primus Pilus
Greetings.I hail from a town on the stormy coast of Wales. I have been ghosting around UNRV for about a year and decided that it is time to register and become a member of the community. I am a 26 year old Ancient History postgrad. I am half way through my MA and intend to go on to do a PHD. My specialist topic is pretty much anything to do with Constantine. Excellent. Constantine of course tends to be a rather controversial figure (regarding religion anyway) and additional input is always welcome.
Guest Aelius Atrectus Andecarius
I'm an auxiliary officer of the Tungrians stationed at Vindolanda. Well, not really. My real name is Gabriele Campbell; I'm an aspiring writer of historical fiction with several university degrees that don't get me a decent job, and special interests in the Roman Empire and Middle Ages. Atrectus is a character I made up for one of my novels. Edited May 16, 2006 by Aelius Atrectus Andecarius
Aurenna
I'm an undergrad at Reading University studying Classics and literally just sitting around waiting for graduation now. Less than a month until graduation now, it's getting exciting! I'm doing a Classics MA at Durham Uni next year, which will be wonderful because I'll be able to commute instead of living over three hundred miles away from home. I hail from Newcastle when not at university, and live less than ten miles away from Wallsend, (the uh...wall's end) Segedunum and Arbeia (the two fort-museums nearby). It's nice to find a place like this...and although I'd like to think that I may have something immeasurably wonderful to add to your discussions, I'm already awed by what I've read. I think I may be the quiet one who sits and listens more than anything else. Looking forward to it!

WotWotius
Ave I have been a UNRV member for a while now, but have only just found this place. I am currently at college studying various types of history. I intend to go to Exeter Uni to study BA Archaeology and Ancient History. Other than history my other passion is music (performing, composing and listening). I also like to party like it was 1884!!! Wooo!

Just stay a Romanophile and don't be afraid to voice your opinions and disagree with others. However, there are some personalities too strong for you. Good luck. P.Clodius
That's right, I only know of one or two who have studied classics in college, I certainly didn't! Just read man, read...It'll come of its own accord. I recommend reading rather than taking opinions of others as gospel. Welcome and goodluck
Ursus
Oh, pshaw. My opinion is gospel. Or at least, that's my opinion.

Guest Maris
Hello, I just joined the forum so I thought I should introduce myself. My name is Dante. I'm 22 and live in North Carolina. I am of Italian, Greek, and Persian heritage. I've always been fascinated by Greco-Roman civilization and culture. I thought this would be a good place to learn more about the Ancient Roman Empire and talk with others who had common interests. I'm glad to be here. Sincerely, Dante
