Melvadius Posted November 26, 2009 Report Share Posted November 26, 2009 (edited) As a followup to the previous thread Huge Anglo-Saxon gold hoard found BBC news have just announced the valuation of this major metal detectorist find which was properly reported through the Portable Antiquities Scheme. The Midlands museums now have the unenviable task of revising their fundraising target by over 300% so they can buy and display it in the area in which it was found.
