I thought it might be a good idea to open a thread for questions about the Latin language. Or maybe one specifically for helping our members learn the language? Just an idea. And sorry for the off-topic tangent Agreed!!One of my favourites at the moment, together with Adagio for strings by Barber (in the platoon soundtrack as far as I remember) Oh, and Paolo actually the italian translation of that sentence in your sign. is: Sarei morto se non lo avessi detto, la mia coscienza non mi avrebbe dato pace. o_- (as if my first, second and zero conditional in English were better lol! Anyway, let's not go into that...
