Here is a quick synopsis: Cruel Roman legions persecute a peace-loving sect, from oasis village to forest fort to walled city, where their warriors gather. Lost in a desert, Azoic recovers in an oasis village under the watchful eye of an idealistic girl child called Neariah. The novel has taken 15-years of research and constant re-writing, on top of regular day jobs. Then, because it crosses many genres, it becomes necessary to distribute non-print versions for free to demonstrate commercial viability to potential publishers. Some of the readers and AudioBook listeners have returned much praise, but improvements also require a critical eye.
