Nephele
Unfortunately for the study of Classical music only a limited amount of information is known about Roman musical history. Relatively little has survived to be passed down which deals with Roman music specifically. A possible explanation for this is the Church
Lost_Warrior
This isn't Roman but I stumbled across it a while ago... I personally think it's one of the ugliest sounding instruments I've ever heard...but with good composition it kind of works.

Lost_Warrior
If you look at the "related videos" and "more from this member" there are more videos of the Lyre (some with spoken word poetry which, while probably quite authentic, really does make my hair stand on end. LOL)
