  1. (In my opinion.)Even if we got the majority of that grain and other stuff to Africa, it still wouldn't be enough to end starvation. Sure, we can help Africa out with then tens of billions of dollars every year(even still not enough), but then we got the North Koreans to feed too every year with 500,000 tons of food annually, and then the Tsnami-strucked areas. The whole world can't be helped. World hunger also in my view isn't prominent anymore these days with ongoing problem of AIDS on the African Continent, the Avian Flu that threatens the world with a pandemic, and the global War on Terrorism. Even if we can help out everyone, it'll just be temporary.
  2. Like the West, the Gallic Empire would eventually fall too is what I think.Suppose had the Gallic Empire subdued the Germans east of the Rhine and the whole of Britannia, what would bring down the Gallic Empire then? Would the Scandinavians come to replace the Germans as the barbaros? Also, would the form of medieval feudalism come to exist.
  3. Just to add to the options: Vita progredior Vita prodeo.
  4. Wait, are we talking about when Brutus was governing?
  5. Sorry to bother, I still think your pictures needs a little bit more vertical height.( don't mind my opinion, but I took Design class and still progressing into architecture and we done projects where we have to balance or manipulate what the eye sees, for example, by focusing on the center, you can cover up the mistakes or unwanted things on the sides.) For example, the little house on the right has a bit of its bottom left corner cut off and it seems congested since having the horizontal line cutting a little bit through that corner. I would also cut of the sides a little to focuse on the center, id that black car on the right is unnecessary and that area doesn't look too nice compared to the scenery of the left and middle. On the left, I would cut off the part where the wall of guard rail doesn't appear any more, the focus would then be the wall lining down towards the center.
  6. I like the all the movies too, with the exception of Tom Cruise and his fiance. Nevertheless, Star Wars is always the best.
  7. I don't know much about Novum Comum but awhile go, I wrote something about Pliny and his hometown of Comum. My Webpage Here's what I said about Pliny's association with the citizens of Comum: The Most Generous Man in Italy Note: It is impossible to be sure whether Pliny Minor was the most generous man in Italy because there aren
  8. What are two lines of walls going down the hill?
  9. Ignota translate into "having been forgiven." Disregard venia, just don't use it. Justificaris is just the indicative passive present tense 2nd person, but used what Scerio told you, Ignota.
  10. Oh, who's that man in the mirror with the camera. Oh by the way, whats with the skeleton on the thing.
  11. link to imbd movie site I didn't know this, but I just found out they finished making a movie called the Last Legion on Romulus Augustus during the Fall of the Empire, well pretty much about the fall of the Empire I think. But look at the cast list, its good one. They got Ben Kingsley and that funny guy from the Mummy Returns(Jonathan).
  12. They are not my fav, but so far I can only think of Medusa and the Harpes.
  13. You should keep sed, otherwise your sentence would inomplete with out the but. By the way, participles doesn't translate into she is or anything like thats. its like "having been forgiven, but never having been forgotten."
  14. No, they were two different deities. Osiris was the older deity and among the original Egyptian gods. Serapis was a invented deity created from a blend of several Egyptian deities and Hellenistic ideas. The word Serapis came from the combined words Osiris and the bull Apis(in a linguistical sense). I might be wrong about the origin of words.
  15. Lol, I assumed the cats were forced to do this.
  16. Dante's Inferno, well never read it because I don't like really reading about Hell and the suffering, gives me thoughts. I do believe there's gonna be a new version of the Decameron coming out next year, but its a modified version by the directors for attracting the public. But the movie is gonna definitely be rated R. I believe its called The Decameron: Angels and Virgins.
  17. Well I saw a history channel documentary on slingers based on David and Goliath. Well I have to saw, those watermelons simply were pummeled and destroyed. They even made considerable dents or damages to metal.
  18. Looks quite a lot like Arthropods of the Devonian period.
  19. Oh...I thought it was a feathered tar.
  20. Scerio, are the verbs you used happen to be participles. Just wondering if participles are the better choice.
  21. Well Viggen, I hope this does not happen, but look at Canada. Their free medical program is gonna have major problems in the future with costs and other stuff.
